Certifications
- Certification in any flavor of Unix – Good to have


Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in any disciple (IT stream – Good to Have)

Technical Skills
- 1 year experience within IT environment
- 6 to 12 months of Unix Server systems (any flavor) administration experience.
- Working Knowledge in Unix Administration (any flavor)
- File System Management, Logical Volume Manager (LVM) and Patch Installation – Good to have
- Basic Understanding on Remote & Network Configuration items - NTP, DNS, TCP/IP, Hosts, NIS, Telnet, Rlogin, FTP and DHCP
- Good communication and customer service skills and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.

- Strong interpersonal and telephone skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a systematic and logical manner, and maintain good communications with all relevant parties throughout troubleshooting process. Must understand and apply existing written instructions
