SENIOR DEVELOPER - SECURITY

Responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for working closely with business and technology leadership to gather the requirements for the design and development of robust and secure financial service oriented applications.

You will manage the ongoing maintenance and deployment of SOA applications from secure data-centres. Application security will be your key focus and you will advise the rest of the team in this area and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you must be degree qualified in either IT or Computer Sciences

Key skills / experience required:

* Proficiency in Core Java
* Broad knowledge in J2EE technologies
* Experience in object orientated development
* Database experience in MySQL or SQL Server desirable but not required.
* Proficiency in XML language particularly XML Schema and namespaces is a must. Understanding of standard Java XML techniques is a requirement.
* Understanding of standard IT Security Frameworks and Specifications in general. Understanding of AAA frameworks and various implementation schemes available. Understanding of security requirements for development and deployment of web applications is a particular requirement.
* Understanding of Cryptography in general with particular reference to the latest symmetric and un-symmetric cryptography techniques commercially available and their application. Understanding of PKI infrastructure implementation, and interfacing from new application development is a particular requirement.
* Understanding of Java security technology in general. Understanding of java techniques authentication and access control, for code execution privileges and for PKI driven processes like digital signatures for client authentication and for code signing is a particular requirement.
* Understanding of the latest Spring Framework as an IOC container, with particular emphasis on Spring MVC control and Spring Security is a must have.
* Understanding of application maintenance and version management as well as deployment management from a security perspective would be highly regarded.

Solid verbal and written communication skills in English language are essential as is the ability to perform under pressure and work within a dynamic environment.

Chinese language skills highly desirable.
