Java/Swing/J2EE Developer

"Role Description:

This exciting role will cover development and maintenance of corporate applications, web sites, databases and networks in the Java/Swing/J2EE/Linux environment.

Technical Requirements:

- Very strong knowledge of Java, Swing, Linux, J2EE, Eclipse, JUnit, HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
- A working knowledge of UML (Class diagrams mostly); ER Diagrams, Developing Test Cases & Requirement Specifications.
- A knowledge of JasperReports and JRXML is highly desired.
- Tertiary education in computer science or related field.

Non-technical requirements:

- At least 2 years experience in a commercial development environment
- At least 6 months experience in an unsupervised development environment
- Fluent English speaking and written skills.
- Ability to travel to overseas for a short period (possibly a week) of time is important in this role as initial training in the structure and processes of the system may require some time.

The successful candidate will be provided with a laptop, IP phone and desk space in Richville Tower, Ayala Alabang.
