This project, from an uppoermost view is about building a joomla site with a property listing component being the core feature. This component talks to an outside system (FE - FoxEnterprise) via a webservice API. This componant consists of two main sections, each accessible from the front end of joomla. There is an administrative & agent area which allows the viewing of properties, and updating of key data relating to those properties. Then there is a public area which lists properties with the same search fields etc, only this area is for viewing purposes only.

The componant must draw data from FE using the API. This data includes all property information, agent information, and contact information. When referring to all properties available to the system we are referring to all properties that have been marked as published to the website from FE. Some data must also be pushed via the API as well. This includes the updating of a properties status, and the uploading of images and documents.

User management is handled by the joomla system. We will use JUGA to take care of different privilege levels.

The componant itself is front end only. It doesn\'t require any information to be modified from the joomla administration - in terms of the data. Users are, as above, handled by Juga\'s administration area.
