C#.Net Developer
Location – Singapore
Salary – S$ 4500 – 5000 + employee benefits

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

The candidate will report to Project Manager and participate in .Net conversion of the project and day-to-day development/testing functionalities.
The split between new development and maintaining existing application is 70/30.
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in converting ASP application to .Net
- Develop and Test new enhancements for the existing application
- Create comprehensive test plans which include full test case matrices of the application
- Analyze data issues
- Document, assign, and review defects in bug tracking tool
- Contribute to improvement and standardization of QA process and procedures
- Troubleshoot Production issues
- Validate Production fixes

Other tasks include:
- Understand the business requirement and functional spec and translate to technical solutions
- Deliver end-product as required in the spec or instructed by Tech Lead/BA and perform unit testing to ensure the quality of the codes
- Deployment/ Release
- Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and trouble-shooting any issues/problems
- Document the requirements and technical design as required
- Maintain constant communication with other team members and technical manager.


PERSON SPECIFICATION


EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Desirable
BS in Computer Science

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
Essential Desirable

- At least 3-4 years of experience working in Investment Banking domain

TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Essential Desirable
- Must have at least 4 years experience as a Developer/Analyst developing commercial and/or business applications in financial industry
- Must have been involved in design and development of .Net projects with at least 4 years hands on experience on C#.
- Must have been exposed to full SDLC process
- Development experience using the following technology: C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, CSS, XML/XSL, ASP, VB Sciprt, ADO, and Java Script
- At least 4 years of development experience with MS-SQL 2000/2005
- Must have extensive hands on experience on ASP.net, ADO.Net, CSS, XML/XSL style sheets and familiar with development tools such as VS.Net and Visual SourceSafe
- A good understanding in Object-Oriented Programming/Design including experience in C# component-based programming and window service programming
- Expertise in T-SQL stored procedure programming with MS-SQL Server
- Experience in Database design and optimization.
- Ability to design, organize, and implement module, perform system testing, plan and automate tasks to maintain existing system
- Ability to research and trouble-shoot application problems
- Highly motivated team player and always eager to learn new
technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Crystal Report/ Business Object.
- SQL Server Reporting Services.
- SQL Server Analysis Services.
