Application Developer (Java/Perl)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Analyze, design, install, maintain, and integrate systems and services to manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Selects, develops and delivers new system solutions, or modifies existing systems based on the analysis of customer and business requirements.
- Implements a system development process which encompasses requirements, design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation.
- Participates in the distribution and dissemination of information technology to achieve business objectives
- Performs other job-related tasks as required by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must be a college graduate with an engineering or IT degree with a minimum of 2 years working experience in information technology. A master’s degree in Information Technology would be preferred but is not required.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Baguio City.


Special Skills and Knowledge:

- Knowledge of computer systems: Windows and Unix
- Programming languages: Java, Perl, shell script.
- Database and tools: Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL Developer, or TOAD.
- Web application framework and development environment: Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, NetBeans IDE.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and experience working with a team
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process a plus.
